When L’AGENCE came to us they had their sights set on quadrupling their DTC sales within the 2021 calendar year. Their goal was to identify and implement new strategies to diversify their revenue stream away from retail / brick and mortar by placing a key focus on eCommerce. By referral from one of our other clients, they entrusted our Brand Growth Program as their holistic marketing solution and never looked back. Prior to Giant Propeller, L’AGENCE worked with multiple marketing agencies who were producing subpar results. They were working on growing their digital presence and sales, but hadn’t seen the breakaway DTC growth they desired.

In addition to the subpar results they were receiving, they were also facing these business barriers:

They lacked proper strategy and management across Meta channels. Although L’AGENCE had been launching new Facebook creative on a weekly basis, they would shut ads down from the previous week even if they were performing well.

Their Paid Search strategy was not set up for success. They were spending money on inefficient keywords and not capitalizing on Dynamic Search Ads.

They had a timid approach to ad placement –  rather than using it to maximize revenue opportunities.

Solutions.

Even though our partnership started halfway through the fiscal year, we were confident we would be able to hit the L’AGENCE eComm revenue goal and deliver their best year in online sales. To do this, we immediately optimized multiple marketing channels to move the needle with our core focus around Paid Media, Email Marketing and Lifecycle Strategy.

 

Audience Research

To set the foundation for omnichannel marketing success,  we dove into consumer research and carefully segmented our audience. From there, we mapped out our strategy for efficiently targeting our ideal customers, crafted quality messaging for each of our unique segments, and then honed in on them to drive exponential conversions.

Meta Campaigns

We rebuilt the L’AGENCE Meta campaigns from the ground up. We dissected the data from their ad library, determined which ads were truly winning creatives, then used successful ads as our templates for iterating and introducing new models to the mix – using our data-driven approach to optimize paid social campaigns.

Paid Search

To improve L’AGENCE’s Paid Search efficiency, we had to do a hard reset. Through detailed keyword analysis, strategic bidding, Dynamic Search, and constant testing, we optimized their SEM efforts at each stage of the funnel.
 

Lifecycle Strategy

With our Lifecycle Strategy at the helm, we propelled the L’AGENCE Email Marketing campaigns forward. By implementing proper segmentation, adding rich storytelling, and providing A/B testing, email engagement improved significantly. Our GP creatives also designed new email templates and lifestyle images to  give their email campaigns a modern refresh that truly highlighted the brand.

Increase in Sales

After implementing these changes, we saw immediate success. Within 4 months L’AGENCE was experiencing a 200% increase in sales.

Lifecycle Strategy

Our Lifecycle Strategy significantly improved email engagement with a 66% increase in CTR, surpassing benchmarks for their industry. With this new email engagement, customer retention improved, increasing their Shopify order value by 383% in automated email flows and 210% in ongoing email campaigns.

Paid Media and Email Marketing

With our Paid Media and Email Marketing efforts working side by side, L’AGENCE witnessed a 200% increase in CTR for Paid Media placements, helping gain 26,000 new email subscribers. These new subscribers were also higher quality customers bringing in 124% higher revenue per email recipient. L’AGENCE also experienced a higher repeat customer rate, resulting in a 20% AOV increase across the board within the first 10 months of engagement with Giant Propeller.

Revenue Growth

Giant Propeller executed an omnichannel marketing strategy and delivered L’AGENCE’s goal of 4X revenue growth. We captured additional market share while setting L’AGENCE up for continued DTC success.
